This recessed incandescent housing has full reflector design that eliminates light leaks, and is rated for 8 no.12 90 degree conductors, 4 in 4 out. Includes integral Romex clamp, tool less can adjustment for varying ceiling thickness, and slotted interlocking bar hangers that securely span 24 T bar spacing. Housing meets Washington State Energy code requirements with P8587 01 accessory ceiling gasket or caulking around plaster frame opening and UL and CUL listed for damp location and through wiring. This unit quick connects to allow simple installation of 12 20 AWG wire without the need for wire nuts and can be installed in ceilings for one half inch to 2 inches thick.
