The six inch incandescent Firebox housing is acoustically tested to maintain STC ratings of L500 floor and ceiling assemblies. UL and CUL listed for damp location and feed through wiring, UL classified to maintain fire ratings of one hour or less for all UL P500 series fire rated ceiling and floor assemblies, and UL classified to maintain fire ratings of two hours or less in all UL D200, G200, L200, D500, G300, and L50 series fire rated ceiling assemblies. Housing is non IC rated and insulation must be kept at least 3 inches away from housing. This unit is shipped with hardware to install bar hangers to furring channels and fits 2 x 10 construction. This functional six inch air tight incandescent Firebox housing is ideal for any home or office.For ceiling opening of 6 and seven eighths with recessed depth of 8 and thirteen sixteenths and plaster frames of 12 and three eighths x 9 and nine sixteenths with half and three quarter inch pry outs.
