Four remodel clips secure housing and accommodate ceiling thickness, 7.5 inch height allows use in 2 inch by 8 inch joist construction. The socket clips into trim bracket for 90 degree vertical alignment, two socket height positions to allow adjustment for light control and output. Features include integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping, junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has several 1/2inch knockouts.
