Housing adjusts to accommodate ceiling thickness, 7.5 inch height allows use in 2 inch by 8 inch joist construction. The pre-installed heavy gauge bar hangers allow extra stability and positioning at any point up to 24 inches, repositioning 90 degrees on a plaster frame without tools. The socket clips into trim bracket for 90 degree vertical alignment, two socket height positions to allow adjustment for light control and output. Features include integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping, junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has several 1/2inch knockouts.
